We are looking for a talented full-time/part-time CFO Intern to join our growing Finance team ideally with 6 to 12 months commitment (minimum 3 months). This role is a combination of day-to-day shadow to CFO and also being involved in large-scale projects. It provides the incumbent with opportunities for exposure to CFO’s stakeholder meetings and cadence.
• Key Responsibilities
Assist CFO in performing a wide variety of tasks and projects. Work closely with different team members (including the leadership team) to coordinate and complete critical internal tasks related to key business objectives.
• 1. Cash Management
- Timely and accurate reporting of Cashflow projection and forecast and reflect accurately in the forecast run rate model;
• 2. Analysis, Insights & Reporting (FP&A)
- Refining financial modelling of monthly updated 12 months rolling P&L and Cashflow for improved visibility and insights
• 3. M&A
- Support CFO as needed for fundraising requirements including preparing presentation materials; minute taking and supporting M&A as needed
• 4. Operational Efficiencies
- Supporting the CFO to drive process improvement through items like DOA, contracting, and as needed; look at new processes to help business efficiencies
• 5. Special Projects
- ESOP Simplification and Automation Project
- Global Business Service Project
• 6. Administrative
- Maintain Corp Secretarial matters with outsourcer;:
- Setup and attend meetings with relevant stakeholders;
• Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or a recent graduate in Accounting / Commerce degree
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Team player
- Possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent time management skills
- Good written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English and able to work in a multicultural and international environment
- Able to work in a constantly transforming environment
