Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
Identify and acquire new customers (exporters, importers, CHA/clearing agents, freight forwarders).
Promote CFS services such as stuffing, de-stuffing, warehousing, and bonded storage.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Handle client queries, pricing negotiations, and service customization.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Coordination & Operations Support
Coordinate with operations team for smooth cargo handling.
Ensure timely movement of containers between port and CFS.
Monitor cargo status and resolve delays or issues.
4. Market Intelligence
Track competitor pricing and services.
Identify new business opportunities and trade lanes.
Stay updated on port regulations and logistics trends.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare sales reports, MIS, and pipeline updates.
Maintain CRM data of clients and leads.
Assist clients with basic documentation requirements if needed.
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping, and CFS operations
Sales and negotiation skills
Customer relationship management
Good communication (English + local language preferred)
Problem-solving and coordination abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
