Job Description
The analyst is expected to apply Banking domain knowledge to design analytical solutions to answer key business questions pertinent to
customer behavior, product penetration, customer experience across channels etc. Furthermore, the analyst is expected to translate the
insights into actionable recommendations i.e. implement required changes to the business strategy, working in partnership with relevant
stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Gathering requirements for analysis, developing the analytical approach (which may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms), extracting, and analyzing data to create insights, and presenting the insights to stakeholders
Working with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) for the purposes of analysis, leveraging relevant programming tools (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python)
Developing in-depth knowledge of Banking domains
Experience in one of the following domains - Marketing, Risk, Digital, Customer Experience
Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant analytics experience
Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
Programming skills required for data extraction, analysis, and presentation
Working experience in a quantitative field (Business analysis, Statistics, Predictive Modeling)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented
Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams
Adaptive to matrix work environment
Education:
Masters degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, MBA, Statistics, Economics
