Job Description
• Understanding customers diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs.
• Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers systems and processes, and then documenting them.
• Identifying and developing new business through networking as well as courtesy and follow-up calls.
• Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently.
• Developing effective sales plans for end-customers as well as channel partners using sales methodology.
• Working with sales engineers to provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of the installation and use of computer systems and networks, both before and after the sale.
• Advising on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts, such as accounting, manufacturing or other specialist areas.
• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
• Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands companys customer base and ensure its strong presence.
• Managing existing partners, developing partners, Training Channel Partners on Solution Selling and creating complete knowledge transfer of the product portfolio.
• Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades
• Handling hardware or software problems and faults and referring on to specialist technical colleagues
• Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature
• Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues
Requirements:
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order to work successfully with customers in high stress and or ambiguous situations.
• Basic understanding of some of the following technologies:
• Networking, Storage, Linux, TCP/IP
• Understanding of Cloud Computing and VDI.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment.
• Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
• Logical approach to problem solving.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science preferred)
• MBA in marketing will be preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in hardware and/or software sales to SMB, enterprise and public administration customers
• Fluent in English and Hindi (Additional languages as per regionals are beneficial)
• Good inter-personal skills, building relationships with customers on all levels and functions
