Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Care

As the Director of Spiritual Care and Chaplain at Health Center At Franklin Park, you'll facilitate and actively participate in the delivery of spiritual care, including one-on-one visits, crisis intervention, hospital visitations, sacramental ministry, counseling, worship services, small groups, support groups and bible studies. You'll develop and lead pastoral programs based on individual and organizational need, and be able to provide appropriate religious observances for all residents either personally or with assistance from members of other faith traditions. You will also collaborate closely with our Activities staff members. Lastly, the Director of Spiritual Care will also initiate and maintain communication with other churches, and with congregational members at the campus, through notification of admission, discharge, transfer, or death of resident's (with resident's permission).
• This is a full-time position working 30 hours a week, including Sundays
• Pay starts from $27-$32/hour based on experience

What You Need
• Master's level Theological Degree (M, Div), or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of three years pastoral experience, or combination of education and experience. Clinical pastoral education preferred
• Ecclesiastical endorsement and ordination by a recognized religious organization of the Christian faith
• Board Certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains highly recommended
• May be required to work outside of normal scheduled hours
