As a Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll be cultivating a growth mindset and supporting creative and innovative ways of working across your team of up to 10 engineers.

You will be responsible for the strategic technology direction for the team, managing and reviewing code, as well as cultivating a safe and trusted working environment where our engineers voices are heard

Have solid experience in driving software strategies from solution design to delivery

Have a solid technical foundation in Microsoft technologies as well as a track record of leading high-performing engineering teams.

Have a solid understanding of large scale distributed systems, microservices and cloud technology

Are comfortable in driving the bank’s ambition to be BIAN API based driven organisation with event-driven architecture

Have experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues involving multiple system components

Tech Skills:

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

Expertise in programming languages such as C# .Net, Python or Java

Cloud knowledge in AWS or Azure

Experience with DevSecOps tooling including CI/CD pipelines and observability tools

Knowledge of Gen AI is beneficial
