About the Role
Waitemata District Nursing is seeking an enthusiastic nursing leader to take on the role of Charge Nurse Manager for the Rodney District Nursing Team.
In this position, you will lead a team focused on patient-centered care, independence, and service improvement. Utilizing technology effectively, coordinating services, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team are key responsibilities.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our District Nurse teams deliver specialised care and treatment to patients either in their homes or at a clinic. We manage the patient’s care journey from admission to the service through to the handover back to their primary healthcare provider. Collaborating closely with patients and the healthcare professionals involved, we ensure the highest quality of care is provided. By joining us, you will become part of a skilled and supportive nursing team committed to continually improving patient outcomes.
About you
To be considered we will need the following:
New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
Post Graduate qualification in specialty practice
A minimum of 5 years’ post registration experience
RN level 4
Masters nursing or equivalent preferred
Leadership and or management experience preferred
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a senior nurse
