Location: Delhi NCR (Hybrid / Part-time Consultancy)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Trust Law Advocate who specializes in Charitable Trusts, Trustee Appointment/Removal matters, Succession Law, and Family Trust Disputes .
The role involves advising on the governance, compliance, and legal structure of a long-standing private trust, including trustee rights, duties, and rectification of historical irregularities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret an existing Charitable Trust Deed
• Advise on validity of trustee appointments and past trust actions
• Prepare legal strategies for quiet strengthening of trusteeship
• Draft resolutions, declarations, notices, and compliance documents
• Guide on meeting procedures, quorum requirements, and deed compliance
• Advise on risk exposure and prevention of disputes
• Support in handling any potential trustee conflict or challenge
Requirements:
• 5–15 years of experience in Trusts, Estate Planning, Civil Law, or Family Settlements
• Strong understanding of:
• Indian Trusts Act
• Private Charitable Trusts
• Trustee appointment/removal procedures
• Trust litigation & injunction strategy
• Experience in handling silent, sensitive family trust matters
• Ability to work discreetly, maintain confidentiality, and guide long-term strategy
Salary / Engagement:
Part-time consultancy or fixed monthly retainer (as per experience).
