Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidateto join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be a CA with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. The person will oversee and manage all aspects of financial accounting, including preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements).
· Coordinate and manage accounting processes such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax filings.
· Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as providing variance analysis.
· Review and reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Ensure proper documentation of accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
· Monitor cash flow and manage working capital requirements.
· Manage and file statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and other tax filings in a timely manner.
· Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and implement audit recommendations.
· Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and other relevant regulations.
· Provide support in financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
· Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff and provide training as needed.
Qualifications:
· CA with relevant educational qualifications.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
· Proven experience (typically 5-10 years) in accounting or finance roles.
· Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of accounting and finance in a specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail, etc.).
· Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
