Our client is a top-tier global consulting firm. They are currently carrying out a project for a client in the real estate and construction space. They are looking to onboard a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in performing reviews of areas such as Corporate Governance, Finance, Procurement, and Human Resource
Below Summarizes the Roles and Responsibilities:
The selected professional would be required to carry out reviews in the below mentioned domains and sub domains:
1.
Corporate Governance:
• Availability of Compliance Framework (internal in terms of Policies & Procedures and Delegation of Authority and external in terms of checklist of respective regulatory bodies)
• Board Meetings and resolutions
• Highlevel study of the organizational structure and Segregation of duties (as applicable)
• Periodic management reporting to client
• Communication lines with client at top management level as well as at divisions/ departments level
• Alignment with the company's overall brand and image
• Business continuity and disaster recovery

Finance:
• General & Administrative expenses (including petty cash)
• Cost control procedures
• Cash flow management procedures
• Financial budget preparation, implementation, monitoring, reporting procedures
• Loan and liability management
• Revenue recognition procedures
• Fixed asset management procedures
• Bank Reconciliations
• Monthend/ quarterly/ annual closing procedures
• System implementation and integration

Procurement :
• Contract and vendor management (selection, monitoring, and evaluation)
• Purchase requests and purchase orders
4.
Human Resource :
• Recruitment, mobilization, and onboarding procedures
• Employee attendance and leaves
• Payroll process (compensation & benefits)
• Employee Mobility (long term secondment)
• Employee evaluation procedures (including promotions, increments, and bonuses)
• Employee resignation, termination procedures
• Grievance Management
• Grading structure and salary scale
An ideal candidate would have the following attributes:
• A fully qualified CA with extensive experience in performing reviews in areas such as Corporate Governance, Finance, Procurement and Human Resource
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 3 months contract extendable further basis performance. The selected consultant would be deployed in Kuwait for the duration of the role.
