Job Description
Looking for a candidate having experience in handling investments accounting – Shares, Mutual funds, other securities, dividends, capital gains, interest calculations, any income from investments, investment purchases and sales, accounting transactions in mutual fund account statements, demat account, broker balances, etc.
This opening is for a leading Non-Banking Finance Company based out of Mumbai.
Responsibilities
• Experience of having handled investments accounting – Shares, Mutual funds, other securities, dividends, capital gains, interest calculations, any income from investments, investment purchases and sales, accounting transactions in mutual fund account statements, demat account, broker balances, etc.
• Investment reporting using investment software/platform (software training can be provided – but, requirement of experience as per point 1 is a pre-requisite)
• Other accounting work – bank payments, receipts, expenses accounting, fees, salaries, reimbursements, profession tax, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of TDS applicability, TDS rates, TDS payments, TDS returns
• . Experience of finalization of accounts (optional)
• Basic understanding of GST (optional/preferred)
Qualifications
• Charted Accountancy.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
