The Job
Key responsibilities areas :
- Managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting.
- Driving accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
- Ensuring timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Managing internal and external audit requirements to ensure timely completion of annual statutory audits.
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Developing and leading tax strategy in line with the overall business objectives.
- Managing tax compliance with local tax requirements.
- Developing and leading both tax-savings opportunities and tax solutions through working closely with multiple stakeholders.
- Planning and executing business risk and other audits activities across various business units.
Preparing, scheduling, planning, executive and reviewing internal audits according to the annual audit plans in conjunction with various stakeholders.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls to address financial, operational, external, and other relevant risks.
- Recommending ways to improve internal controls and governance processes.
- Presenting periodic reports and audit findings to the senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, INDIA GAAP and UK GAAP.
Key Competencies :
- You have a diploma / degree in Accounting, Finance.
- You have at least 1 year experience within a Accounting Manager, Internal Audit or International Tax role, ideally within the Accounting industry.
- Experience within Big 4 and Financial Audit would be a strong advantage.
- You have strong knowledge of IFRS, INDIA GAAP and UK GAAP as well as Sage.
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
