Job Description:L1 Grade (Sr. Design Engineer/Design Engineer)"1) This position is for mentioned position in below aggregatesa) Front strut and dampersb) Springs and ARBc) Twist beam/bladed) Wheel rim and tyrese) Wheel bearingsf) Frames/Sub framesg) Con trol arms and ball joints2) The candidate would be working in the Suspension team and contribute towards design and development of the mentioned aggregates having below job descriptiona) 2D/3D CAD creation in Creo and release in compatible life cycle management systemb) Packaging study and integration of the aggregatec) Test car/sample build along with supplier/proto team and resolution o f related issuesd) Work on field/manufacturing issues and its resolutione) Life cycle management of the aggregates." Job Responsibility:"1) Work experience and knowledge to contribute in domain of McPherson strut, Dampers, Twist beam/blade, A RB, Tyres, Frames/sub frame, Wheel end & its Bearing and suspension integration, 2) Support prepeartion of RFQ's, specification she ets, DVP and DFMEA3) DMU & Packaging in Proe Creo. Initial Concept layout Preparation4) Apply GD & T5) Work in PLM, to release TP L and change management tools like DML ,ECN, DCR, spare parts usage.6) Apply past knowledge Manufacturing and Assembly processes i n design (Welding, Sheet metal forming, casting, forging, machining, injection & blow moulding etc)7) Cater to part fitment and ser viceability in design8) Estimate system weight through CAD and packaging+) Prepare Knowledge management( KM) document as per on t he job learning10) Support for creation of Design rule & Design calculations for domain area"Minimum Qualification & S pecialization (e.g. BE-Mech):Diploma/B.Tech/ M. TechSkills:Primarily Skill : Good interpersonal communication, knowle dge of product development, proficient in issue resolution and problem solving, Secondary Skill : 2d/3D CAD in Creo, Product design & development. DFMEA, DFM, DFA, 4D, Awareness of types & working principle of suspension, wheel end & wheels & tyres. D omain Knowledge:Must have : Must be having working knowledge of subject suspension system, its functioning and integrationPref erred to have : Should have awareness of other chassis systems and its integration with full vehicle system.Work Experience Deta ils ( If Any ): Must have worked in automotive suspension systems under the design/integration area.Minimum Yrs of Experien ce: Min 3-6 Years
