Key Responsibilities:
1.Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. This includes but is not limited to soups, snacks, salads, main courses, side dishes..
2.Menu Planning: Collaborate with management to plan and create menus that offer a diverse range of options, catering to various dietary preferences and requirements while maintaining budgetary constraints.
3.Quality Control: Maintain standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Conduct regular checks to ensure freshness and proper storage of ingredients.
4.Time Management: Efficiently manage kitchen operations, coordinating the timing of food preparation to meal serving schedules and minimize wait times for customers.
5.Team Leadership: Oversee kitchen staff and provide guidance, support, and training to maintain a cohesive and productive team. Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
6.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment, loading and Unloading Kitchen Needs. Place orders as needed and ensure stock rotation to prevent wastage.
7.Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, sanitation standards and conducting routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
