Job description
The primary role of Sous Chef is to focus on successfully accomplishing the daily objectives in the restaurant. He will personally assist in all areas of the kitchen, including food production, purchasing and kitchen sanitation, leads the respective kitchen teams under his command.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Maintains food handling and sanitation standards
• Oversee production and preparation of culinary items
• Ensures employees keep their work areas clean and sanitary
• Strives to improve service performance
• Prepares and cooks foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions
• Supervises and coordinates activities of kitchen team and engaged in food preparation
• Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
• Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays
• Participates in the employee performance appraisal process, giving feedback as needed
• Supports and assists with new menus, concepts and promotions
• Handles guest problems and complaints seeking assistance from supervisor as necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
