Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Chef to join the fantastic team at one of our fabulous education sites; New Cavendish Refectory, W1W 6UW. This is an exciting, permanent and full time opportunity reporting to the Catering Manager on site. The role will assume responsibility for all food production across breakfast and lunch service from one main kitchen and support with planned ad hoc hospitality throughout the year.

A Day In The Life Of a Lead Chef
• Take ownership and accountability of all operational food management; production and service from the one main kitchen
• Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return
• Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and reports are completed correctly and at the right time
• All compliance and health & safety
• Be accountable for the management and delivery of budget food subsidy, including GP & labour costs
• Manage all casual labour including porters and ensure all food and labour costs are in line with budget and business needs
• Be accountable for stock flow and rotation of product within the unit
• Ensure a consistent high standard of hospitality offer
