The Blue Bell is a countryside pub in the village of Wentbridge, near Pontefract, offering a modern British menu, enhanced by specials, produced using sustainable, quality ingredients by our kitchen team. The Blue Bell works in partnership with Wentbridge House Hotel and Blue Smoke Artisan Pizza. (www.wentbridgehouse.co.uk)
We're looking for a hard-working, talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our fabulous expanding team. This role is to support the Head and Sous chefs in the day to day running of the kitchen.
You will need to:
Know your way around a kitchen, having worked in a similar kitchen environment before and be ready to run your own section
Be passionate about food, have excellent standards and a great team spirit
Help to teach and guide junior members of the team Deliver orders in an efficient time and strive for service excellence
Assist with achieving compliance with legal requirements under the Food Hygiene and Health & Safety at Work Act

The role would suit an experienced Commis Chef or Demi CDP looking to make the next step. Salary will be discussed at interview and is dependent on experience. It’s important, due to the rural location of the pub, that you have your own transport.
