Job Description
• Preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice, chopping vegetables, slicing meat, and assembling sushi.
• Inspecting the quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish used to prepare sushi dishes and informing the Executive Chef when quality is sub-standard.
• Maintaining Sushi hygiene skills
• Daily checks on all the preparation of your section/ food station to ensure freshness and quality standards
• Maintain proper rotation of products in chillers.
• Sterilizing all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before every use.
• Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation is always of the highest quality and keep up to date with the new Oriental recipes and preparation techniques
Qualifications
• Previous experience in Japanese/Pan Asian/Oriental/Asian Cuisine is must
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in the culinary arts
• Good knowledge of Modern sushi style- nobu, testuya, stick and sushi, and sushi-rolling techniques
• Dedicated to food quality and control
• Incredible food preparation abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Deep knowledge of the food industry and trends
• Incredible time management skills
• Ability to pass a background test
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Experience In Japanese/Pan Asian/Oriental/Asian Cuisine: 2+ Years. (Preferred)

Salary: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
