Role: Chef Trainer
Reporting to: Training Lead
Location: Gurgaon
Salary range:
3-5 lacs per annum (depending on experience)
We are looking for young, dynamic chefs passionate about training and learning, who want to create a meaningful difference in the lives of aspiring cooks & chefs whose company trains and provides domestic household or institutional jobs.
The responsibilities of a Chef Trainer will include:
• Culinary skill training: The Chef Trainer should be able to teach all aspects of cooking, from personal hygiene to handling and from processing to the plating. S/he should be able to aggregate and understand the subject matter at hand and distill it down to simple but effective training modules that can be administered to a semi-literate audience of domestic helps aspiring to be professional cooks & chefs.
Culinary training operations:
• The Chef trainer needs to manage training operations & control operational expenditures by undertaking activities such as maintaining the ordering sheets for all dry groceries and fresh produce and placing indents; maintaining IKT (inter kitchen transfers) for all food and non-food items; controlling the food stocks, portion control, and wastage by using recipes and specification sheets; carrying out weekly stock takes and associated administration.
• Training design:
• Chef Trainer needs to assist the Training Lead in planning the structure of training programs, designing the underlying content & instructional frameworks, and deploying a variety of tools & techniques to drive an effective understanding of the topics being delivered.
