Key Responsibilities:
Menu Design: Create menus that showcase our unique culinary style and highlight the freshness of our ingredients
Culinary Leadership: Supervise dish quality throughout preparation and presentation, ensuring that every plate that goes out meets our high standards
Kitchen Team Management: Consult with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration around food preparation matters
Cooking Techniques: Demonstrate methods and provide guidance on cooking techniques to junior chefs and kitchen staff
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation
Hygiene Standards: Educate on and ensure compliance with hygiene standards in the kitchen
Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management
Requirements:
Qualifications: Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years managerial experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
Skills: Good communication skills, outstanding customer relations, and the ability to lead a team
Salary Expectation: $70,000 to $80,000
