We are seeking a motivated and experienced Chef to join our team in providing excellent care through nutritious meals for residents in supported living units.
Job Summary
This is a temporary bank chef position working in small-scale kitchens with shifts available as early as this week. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Responsibilities
Plan and prepare meals according to resident dietary needs and preferences.
Maintain high standards of food quality and taste.
Clean the kitchen, wash dishes, and take out the trash (working independently).
Unload food deliveries on designated days.
Serve food to residents on rare occasions.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef, preferably in a similar environment.
Possession of Chef whites and blacks.
Enhanced DBS on update service required.
Able to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to adapt and be creative.
Working Conditions
Shifts will vary depending on business needs, but hours will always be 8am-6pm.
Pay Rate: £17/hour
