VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced chef to join our clients' restaurant in Hennessy. Our client, Farmers Arms Hotel Tocumwal is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with strong communication skills.

The Responsibilities Will Include

Preparing food and ensuring high presentation quality;

Planning menus and specials for the restaurant;

Estimating food costs and ordering supplies as required;

Advising kitchen staff on cooking techniques and procedures;

Monitoring costs in regards to waste minimization and stock control;

Carrying out quality checks while ensuring hygiene standards are maintained;

Working with the management to recruit and train new kitchen staff if required.

Skills Required

Previous experience in a similar role;

Have a passion for great food and presentation;

Ability to prioritize, set goals, and a determination to achieve them;

Experience in kitchen operations and staff training;

Experience with menu creation and costings;
