The Opportunity
Forest Grove Retirement Living, located in Durack, is a large retirement village with 700+ residents and 34 hectares of greenery. Working with our established kitchen team, you'll support the restaurant in preparing a la carte meals for guests in our on-site restaurant or pre-planned meals for residents in our apartments with services. As a hands-on Chef, you'll have experience in volume catering with high standards of meal presentation.
This is a casual role, to help our team fill shifts on weekends and during the week if required. No late nights or early mornings.
What We Offer
$36.16/hr including 25% casual loading + super + award entitlements including penalty rates and overtime

You will:
Prepare, cook, present and deliver meal services with high attention to detail
Monitor food safety plans and ensure the kitchen is adhering to all OH&S standards
Manage stock - assist with ordering, stock rotation and stocktake etc.
Manage the maintenance of kitchen equipment
Work with fellow Food & Beverage or Cook/Chef staff to ensure smooth operations
What you'll bring
Experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings (e.g experience in food preparation or Chef roles)
Certificate III in Commerical Cookery (required)
A friendly and warm persona with a passion for food and great team work!
Minimum of two (2) COVID-1+ Vaccinations (required)
