Phat Boy Brisbane, a premier dining destination in the heart of Brisbane CBD, is renowned for its innovative take on authentic Thai cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head Chef to design menus and estimate food and labour costs.
Manage food supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Maintain high standards of dish quality throughout preparation and presentation.
Work with Managers and kitchen/waiting staff to address food preparation matters.
Demonstrate advanced cooking techniques and provide guidance on culinary procedures.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that align with the restaurant's standards.
Enforce hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed.
Preserve and store foods following industry standards.
Requirements:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role may substitute for formal qualifications.
Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment is essential.
Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
