The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Chef to showcase their expertise in Indian cuisine and contribute to a thriving restaurant environment.
Craft flavourful dishes that blend traditional Indian flavors with fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori specialties, and vegetarian options.
Oversee stock control, food storage, and ingredient ordering to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain high service standards.
Guarantee consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes.
Requirements
Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
Full working rights in Australia.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating exceptional dishes. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards.
