The Roles
We are seeking individuals to become key members of our kitchen team, in the roles of Sous Chef, Chef de Partie and Commis Chef. As key members of the team, you will help deliver an exceptional experience for all our guests. The responsibilities will include:
Assistance with menu creation
Management of cost control
Training, supporting and leading our team members
Assist in all aspects of our kitchen department
Assist with staff rostering
Assist with the overall management of the kitchen operations within the Hotel in conjunction with management
About You
We are looking for individuals who are guest orientated and creative, with a friendly, fun and energetic disposition.
It is essential that you possess exceptional communication skills and that you can work independently but are a team player. You will have the ability to work well under pressure whilst always maintaining a professional attitude.
You are experienced in leading, training and motivating a team. You are reliable and flexible in your availability to work a variety of shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends and public holidays
Requirements
Formal Commercial Cookery qualifications or relevant trade certification
Previous experience in a professional kitchen, suited to the level of the position
Strong culinary skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in high-volume banqueting and à la carte service
A sound understanding of food safety, WHS, and HACCP principles
High standards of customer service, professionalism, and personal presentation
For senior roles, proven experience in leading, supporting, and developing kitchen team members
Flexibility to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
