We’re looking for a Chemist who’s ready to take the lead in developing and implementing waste treatment plans, with a strong focus on chemical processes and hazardous waste management. If you’re someone who’s just as comfortable in the lab as you are on the ground floor with the team, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Develop, implement, and optimize chemical waste treatment plans for a range of industrial and commercial clients.
Take ownership of hazardous waste management strategies, ensuring compliance with all environmental and safety regulations.
Work hands-on with production and waste technicians to provide technical direction and best-practice guidance.
Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in waste handling and treatment.
Conduct chemical analysis and testing to support treatment processes and problem-solving.
Provide solutions to our clients on best treatment plans
Stay up to date with emerging waste treatment technologies and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
A degree in Chemistry (or a related scientific discipline).
Proven experience in waste treatment, chemical processing, or hazardous waste management.
Strong understanding of chemical and environmental regulations.
A proactive, hands-on approach — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Leadership qualities — you can guide and influence teams across the business to implement sustainable waste solutions.
