Job description
Job Description –
• Provide assistance during practical classes by preparing apparatus and equipment in advance.
• Provide hands-on support to students during experiments, ensuring safety and proper use of materials.
• Prepare and organize the lab for practical examinations (Classes IX to XII).
• Coordinate with subject teachers to ensure smooth execution of practical exams as per CBSE guidelines.
• Ensure availability and readiness of materials, chemicals, and instruments required for classes and exams.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all chemicals, glassware, instruments, and other lab supplies.
• Track usage and consumption of chemicals and lab resources; update stock registers regularly.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals as per safety norms.
• Ensure compliance with all CBSE and school safety standards and protocols.
• Participate in science exhibitions, school events, and any other academic activities related to Chemistry.
• Support the school in any other administrative work related to lab infrastructure and operations.
Candidate Profile –
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (B.Sc. Chemistry or higher preferred).
• Prior experience in laboratory management in an educational setting
• Familiarity with CBSE Chemistry curriculum is preferred.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong understanding of lab safety procedures and handling of chemicals.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes
