Job Description
We are looking for a Chef to join our teamand prepare delicious meals for ourcustomers.Chef responsibilities includestudying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high qualitydishes. You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff toensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Also, you should befamiliar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience withadvanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, We'dlike to meet you .Ultimately, you willprepare and deliver a complete menu that delights ourguests.RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up the kitchenwith cooking utensils and equipment, like knives , pans, andkitchen scales.
• Study each recipe and gatherall necessary ingredients.
• Cook food in atimely manner.
• Delegate tasks to kitchenstaff.
• Inform wait staff about dailyspecials.
• Ensure appealing platepresentation.
• Supervise Cooks and assist asneeded.
• Slightly modify recipes to meetcustomers' needs and request (e.g., reduce salt, removedairy).
• Monitory food stock and placeorders.
• Check freshness of food and discard out- of - date items .
• Experiment with recipes andsuggest new ingredients.
• Ensure compliance withall health and safety regulations within the kitchenarea.
Requirementsand Skills :
• Provenwork experience as a Chef or Cook.
• Hands onexperience with various kitchenequipment.
• LeadershipSkills.
• Ability to remain calm and undertakevarious tasks.
• Excellent time managementabilities.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cookingtechniques and recipes.
• Familiarity withsanitation regulations.
• Culinary school diplomapreferred.
