Te Haeata/The Opportunity

The Chief Advisor Technical Design Standards will work in the Property Strategy and Planning Team to create, update and maintain essential policies, specifications and requirements documents that contribute to providing vital access to Justice.

This role will lead the development of a strategic framework for courthouse property technical design including reference designs and design standards and how these are used across Ministry.

Build strong relationships with key internal clients, and with some of New Zealand's leading external courthouse experts including architects and engineers.

Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Requirement's management/systems engineering experience in large and complex organisations. Experience in public sector is an advantage.
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills with a minimum of 5 years' experience, working in property.
A demonstrable commitment to ongoing professional development.
Significant experience in creation of technical design policies and guidelines.
A sound understanding of project delivery and maintenance in a government setting an advantage.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $147,+72 and $1+1,782 based on skills and experience.
