Job Description
The markets quants is an ambitious and motivated team working with applied mathematics. The majority of our employees are working closely together with the business and are responsible for the full stack of development; ranging from problem formulation and equation solving to trading and sales applications for pricing and risk management. The department currently consists of 48 quants, spanning 14 nationalities. The work situations are similarly broad, as some roles consist of core innovative model development, while other roles have an expressed element of communicating with trading, sales and risk functions. The department has focus on being leaders in our field and we regularly publish research papers and present work at international conferences. This has resulted in multiple international awards. Concretely, the department is building a financial C++ library, SuperFly, envisioned to be the One Calculation Engine for the bank.

Work closely with the rest of the Quant team and IT, sharing a common vision of the One Calculation Engine for the bank
Develop end-user pricing applications and tools in close cooporation with the business
Develop large-scale number production flows for risk management of the products we offer at Danske Bank
Degree in mathematical finance, mathematics, physics, or similar field.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Fluent in at least one programming language (ideally C++ or C#).
Experience and interest in practical problem solving and turning theory into practice.
Interest in the financial markets and products.
Working experience from similar role.
You have a result oriented approach to work, can work independently and with others and are able to take ownership.
