Chief Couturier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced fashion lead designer to head our wedding and occasion wear division. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of strong experience in luxury bridal couture, embroidery design, and personalized client styling.

• Creative Direction & Styling:

• Lead the design and development of bridal and occasion wear collections.

• Translate client briefs into detailed sketches, embroidery layouts, and curated lookbooks.

• Curate full bridal trousseaus and exclusive wedding wardrobes.

• Ensure every creation reflects a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern elegance.

• Client Consultations & Personal Styling:

• Conduct in-person consultations with premium clients to understand their style, preferences, and event themes.

• Offer guidance on fabric, color palettes, embroidery techniques, and silhouettes.

• Manage fittings and styling trials to ensure the final garment aligns with the client's vision.

• Create a seamless design journey from first sketch to final delivery.

• Team & Workflow Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, artisans, and tailors.

• Oversee sampling, embroidery execution, stitching, and finishing.

• Maintain high levels of quality control and adherence to timelines.

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of every design project.

• Embroidery & Fabric Expertise:

• Command over bridal embroidery techniques such as zardozi, aari, resham, mukaish, gota, etc.

• Expertise in working with luxury fabrics including silk, velvet, net, organza, and handloom textiles.

• Stay updated with current trends while maintaining the brand's classic couture essence.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in luxury bridal or occasion wear fashion.

• Strong understanding of Indian couture design and embroidery craftsmanship.

• Experience in client-facing roles and personalized bridal styling.

• Excellent communication, team coordination, and project management skills.

• Ability to handle multiple bespoke orders and maintain high creative standards.
