We are currently looking for a Group CEO, a strategic leader who will contribute to the overall success of the organisation by effectively managing all functions of the organization. The CEO provides strategic leadership by working with the Board and key management staff to establish long-range strategies and operational policies and maintain a strong financial foundation for the Bank. CEO is responsible for ensuring the company is mission-driven, fiscally accountable and for efficient and quality delivery of services. The CEO will develop supervisory controls, present reports to the board, and provide executive leadership and direction to the operating units consistent with safe and sound business practices. The CEO has overall responsibility to ensure the financial health, well-being, image and
profitable growth of the division consistent with policies and practices adopted by the board.
The position reports to the Board and will be based out of St.Lucia with extensive travel to all of EEB's footprints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Direct the company in keeping with the vision outlined for the Group by the Board
• Collaboratively establish the business direction that supports Group strategy, operating and budget plans, strategies and action plans
• Manage the organisation's financial results, assuring a robust business plan that delivers the greatest shareholder value in coordination with our principles.
• Provide advice and counsel to the board and is directly accountable for executing the board’s policy direction.
• Provide overall leadership and direction to the Group's marketing and business development, customer service, lending, financial and accounting and internal control operations.
• Proactively manage the Group's controls and financial and operating results (i.e., capital requirements, asset quality requirements, management and staff effectiveness, earnings requirements, and liquidity requirements).
• Oversee quality control throughout the company, establishing goals for each department in partnership with division managers
• Facilitate management development and succession, proactively making necessary adjustments to maintain effective and efficient operation.
• Direct the development and implementation of necessary local operating policies, procedures and programs and management systems, controls, and standards to effectively carry out the Group’s objectives.
• Ensure the adequacy and soundness of the Group's financial structure, including risk management, the competitiveness of its products and services and responsiveness to its customers' needs
• Continue to build on the strong cultural foundation and actively manage the cultural health and development needed for the future success of the Group.
• In collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, manage all aspects of the credit function, assuring sound credit philosophy and policy & procedure.
• Engaging communication, ensuring that association values and objectives are effectively communicated to all stakeholders (all levels of employees, customers, the board, and communities, etc.).
• Determine the overall organizational structure, product delivery systems and staffing, and develops and motivate a highly competent and professional staff.
• Partner with Top Team to grow the company, strengthen it and ensure its sustainability
• Represent the company as required, including attendance at important functions, industry events and public meetings
