Responsibilities
· Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and direction.
· Develop and execute a sales strategy.
· leading the development and implementation of the organisational strategy.
· Establish relationships with key partners.
· Develop the company's business by monitoring and maintaining profitability ratios and returns on investment.
· Representing the organization for civic and professional associations and participating in industry-related events.
· Source deals that present excellent financial opportunities both with short-term and long-term upside potential, specialising in hospitality assets.
· Leverage persuasive negotiation skills to optimise deal terms and close acquisition transactions.
· Oversee analysis and utilise market research.
· Partner with internal teams and attorneys to handle all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, and recapitalizations.
· Strategize with key leaders to orchestrate financing on all deals.
· Drive the due diligence process by incorporating subject matter experts, verifying underwriting assumptions, and dissecting operational complexities; escalate issues, and make recommendations based on findings.
· Lead the transition process to hand-off newly acquired properties or portfolios to Asset Management and other relative departments post-purchase.
· Further develop the organisational structure, talent, and skills necessary to grow the business.
· Increase client awareness of all product offerings through presentations, special events, promotional activities, and marketing outreach.
· Keep up to date on current and emerging trends, markets, and competitors.
· Communicate and advocate sector needs to the internal team
· Work and collaborate effectively with sales leaders and all other functional areas of the business.
· Introduce best practices for continuous improvement.
· Shape and deliver the overall marketing strategy.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• MBA Desirable
• 10+ years' experience in related field
• Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills
