About the Role

This is a challenging full-time position based in Canberra, providing high-level support to the Chief Executive & Principal Registrar at the High Court of Australia. In this role, you will provide strategic and varied executive and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Chief Executive's Office.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level support for the Chief Executive & Principal Registrar

Support Court Business Meetings and other meetings as required

Manage the production of the Court's Annual Reports

Organize all Court ceremonies and official events

Liaise with Australian Courts, Government agencies, and legal entities

Assist in providing secretariat services to the Council of Chief Justices of Australia and New Zealand

Manage general enquiries correspondence

Prepare certificates in respect of the High Court Register of Practitioners

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated high-level liaison, administrative, and organisational skills

Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

Demonstrated capacity to provide high-level support services

Sound communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain discretion

Demonstrated attention to detail
