Senior HR Strategist

India's largest manufacturer of fittings and accessories in the Energy sector has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Strategist to join their team. With multiple manufacturing facilities and state-of-the-art testing laboratories in Chennai, they are looking for someone with a rich legacy of experience in human resource strategy.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to develop and execute comprehensive human resource strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.

• Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of overall business operations objectives

• Act as a Strategic Advisor to owners on areas related to organizational and people management issues which include succession and leadership talent management

• Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting and retention plans to meet human capital needs of strategic goals

• Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective

• Develop a suitable Learning and Development program which encompasses all 3 aspects - Behavioral, Technical, and Management

• Strategize and implement Employee Engagement programs which enhance emotional quotient of employees towards organisational vision and mission

• Ensure statutory compliance on all aspects

Preferred Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Post Graduate in HR / Social Science and any other relevant areas, preferably from a Premier Business school

• At least 18+ years of experience, of which 5-8 years should have been in a manufacturing company

• Currently managing HR function and reporting to CEO / MD

• Proven track record of driving change by effective stakeholder management which include cross-functional team

• Experience of deploying at least one of the strategic planning and management system - Balanced Scorecards / TQM / Lean Six Sigma

• Hands-on experience in HR automation
