About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Legal to join our team in Mumbai, who has a proven track record of providing strategic advice on complex legal matters and managing high-performing teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on all legal risks and implications pertaining to business development, operations, strategic tie-ups, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, and other high-stake transaction matters.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in the legal field is required, with at least 5+ years in a leadership position as a Head of Legal or General Counsel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to be persuasive and relentless in reinforcing the best interests of the Company.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing counsel on all major business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, financing and other high stake transaction matters.
• Effectively monitoring and handling all legal cases, both in Indian and International jurisdictions, pertaining to Arbitration, Court cases (both civil and criminal), Contract disputes, Bank Guarantee encashment, other litigation etc.
