About the Role
We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a Chief Legal Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the legal function of Digamber Finance, overseeing arbitration, court cases, consumer forums, and other litigations. They will work closely with various departments to provide guidance on implementing applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Management of legal functions to ensure efficient performance as per company guidelines
• Overseeing arbitration, court cases, consumer forums, and other litigations
• Preparation of suit applications and representation of the company in court
• Management of empanelment and performance of advocates and retired police officials
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB)
• 3 to 5 years of experience as Regional Legal Officer/Legal Manager with any NBFC/MFI/BFSI
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Calmness under pressure, especially when there are deadlines
