Chief Manager – Legal Claims (On Role) Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Grade: TBA Required Qualification/Parameters Required Experience and Skills o Must be a Law Graduate (LLB or LLM) from a recognized institution or university. o Minimum 12 to 14yrs of experience in the General Insurance Industry with a focus on Legal/TP Claims o Minimum 5 to 7 yrs. of experience specifically within the Rajasthan State in GI (Legal Claims) o Experience working with minimum two states in the West Zone, including Rajasthan (such as Gujarat,MP&CG, Maharashtra) o Proven experience managing minimum of 4000 TP Claims throughout the candidate’s career in the General Insurance sector Will report to Legal Head (Vice President) – Legal Claims Key Responsibility of the Role o Experience in handling team (minimum 03 member) with exposure of entire state /zone. o Strong understanding of Legal principles and procedures, with expertise in Rajasthan state regulations and local trends related to General Insurance Claims o Excellent data analytical, negotiation and communication skills o Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. o Exposure in dealing MACT / Third Party Claims & WC matters. o Candidate must have good drafting skills as well as communication skills. o Exposure in handling Consumer complaints & Ombudsman Complaints (Drafting skills in SCN & experience to attend hearings) o Candidate must have well experience in pay & recovery matters with commendable negotiation skills. o Experience in handling for & against litigations before various courts arising out of claims (civil, criminal etc.) o Candidate should have well conversant about latest laws pertaining to Insurance Laws o Experience in handling Advocates & Investigators: (1) Vetting of Written Statements, arguments and relevant applications whenever requires in best interest of the company (2) review of investigation report to conclude/ quantify cases into respective categories. o Proficiency in Microsoft office and Legal cases management (MS office for day-to-day activities and maintaining required MIS) o Experience in adducing evidence to defend the matters rigorously & to safeguard company interest. o Experience in handling National Lok-Adalats, Pre-conciliation tours & meeting with judiciary whenever its required. o Looking for Chief Manager to oversee the Legal Claims (TP/ WC claims & Consumer/Ombudsman complaints) of our GI business of West Zone (Rajasthan, Gujarat, Mp & CG, Maharashtra). The successful candidate will effectively ensure Legal conformity and minimize probability of exposure
