Chief of Creative, Brand Strategy (Apparel)
Overview
Our client is a market leading fashion apparel organisation who are actively seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief of Creative, Brand Strategy to lead and enhance the brand positioning across multiple apparel brands. This role is ideal for a creative leader with a strong foundation in brand development and a passion for fashion, particularly in connecting with diverse markets, and also elevating the overall brand image over the medium to long term.
Key Responsibilities
• Creative Leadership: Develop and implement innovative creative strategies for our apparel brands to enhance market presence and drive growth.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify fashion trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, focusing on expatriate demographics.
• Creative Direction: Oversee the creative development of marketing materials and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand identity and resonance with target audiences.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business objectives.
• Brand Development: Maintain brand guidelines that reflect the core values and mission of each apparel line, ensuring cohesive brand identity across all platforms.
• Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess brand health and the effectiveness of creative strategies, making adjustments as needed.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including designers, influencers, and partners, to promote brand initiatives.
• Innovation: Drive innovative brand experiences and campaigns that engage target audiences and differentiate apparel products in the marketplace.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Use creative thinking to address challenges and develop unique solutions that enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 20 years in creative brand strategy or related fields within the apparel industry, with a focus on diverse international markets
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Creative Arts, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Creative Background: Extensive experience in creative roles, such as fashion design, copywriting, or advertising, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative campaigns in the apparel sector.
• Leadership: Capability of leading an international team to reach expediential goals set by the company
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a collaborative approach.
• Location: Based in Hong Kong or Shenzhen (China)
• Package: USD 200k - 350K p.a. + benefits
