Chief Operations Officer | e-Commerce
- The COO of the brand will also be given the title of a Co-founder as the brand is rapidly growing. The incumbent will bring on board his/her expertise to build through the next phase of growth. High personal ethics and past performance in start up success would be noted above all.
- We expect our COO to have seen growth cycles / stages for companies who are in the eCommerce domain as the growth predicted for the next 2 -3 years is in the range of 15X 20X. Managing through the growth, the role will evolve and grow with it.
To start a conversation, we are looking at the following major deliverables :
1. Executing Strategy for the brand while Managing P & L
2. Lead operations including Marketing, Sales, Product, HR, F&A, Category, Supply chain & warehouses.
3. Create sustainable work processes that fuel growth and are in line to the vision of the brand.
4. Innovate/create new ways of working, which directly enhance customer experiences and stakeholder confidence
5. People Management is the major deliverable.
a. Coach functional heads for even better performance.
b. Ensure difference functions are contributing at the optimum levels for business growth
Education & Experience : MBA from a good business school, with 10 years of e-commerce operations experience.
Skills we need:
1. Risk taker with Operational Excellence
2. People's man, Ability to connect, Very strong team player, proactive, fire in the belly
3. Excellent Communication skills, written communication , public domain exposure, media management
4. Story Teller | Persuasive & Convincing
Exposure needed:
1. Large format teams management
2. Seen growth cycles, managed stress through tough times
3. Understands stakeholder's trust and knows how each action we take grows or depletes the same
4. eCommerce Experience is a must (preferably an ex Flipkart, Snapdeal, Jabong, Myntra)
Compensation : 1 Cr Annually + Stake in the company
