Role Overview
We are looking for a responsible and caring student to help with child care and light home care tasks. The role suits someone patient, organised, and comfortable around children. Full guidance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
**Child Care Support **
Supervising two children ( 07 and 02 year old daughters) in a safe and positive environment
Assisting with homework or reading activities
Preparing simple snacks or meals for the children
Driving / walking children to and from activities and pre school (if required)
Engaging in playtime, educational games, or outdoor activities
Maintaining routines and discipline for the children in a playful manner
**Home Care Support**
Light housekeeping (tidying rooms, organising toys, basic cleaning)
Assisting with laundry (washing, folding, sorting clothing)
Meal prep support for the family (basic cutting/cleaning tasks)
Grocery runs or small errands (if required)
Keeping the home environment organised and child-friendly
Assisting with tasks for the elderly (mainly supervision/companionship for an 81-year-old mother, no medical tasks)

**Requirements**
Responsible, honest, and punctual
Comfortable with children and elderly
Good communication skills
Flexible hours - weekdays 4pm - 8pm , weekends - can be discussed
Ability to follow instructions independently
Prior babysitting or home-care experience is a bonus but not required
If driving is required: Must hold a valid NZ driver’s licence

Flexible hours mainly evenings after school hours - weekdays 4pm - 8pm , weekends - can be discussed
May include morning, afternoon, or early evening support during holidays
Occasional weekend support (optional)
