We have a temporary maternity leave leadership opportunity available for an experienced educator ready to step into a Cluster Director role supporting two services in Glenmore Park.

Commencing salary: $107,058 - $123,924.00 per annum +12% superannuation
Here’s what you’ll be up to…
Lead and manage our childcare services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional educational programs
Drive the advancement of our curriculum and educational strategies
Undertake the role of Nominated Supervisor, guiding and supporting your team
Oversee budget management and ensure financial efficiency
Foster a positive and productive work environment through strong leadership and staff management
Collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain and enhance service quality
What we are looking for (essential criteria)
A Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and care or a Tertiary Qualification in Early Childhood Education
Proven ability to develop and implement educational programs
Child Protection Certificate or a commitment to obtaining one
In-depth knowledge of The National Quality Standards and contemporary curriculum frameworks
Familiarity with The Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience in budget management
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Training

This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.

You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
