Join Our Team as a Cook in Childcare
We are seeking experienced cooks to join our team in various childcare settings across Norwood, St Peters, Maylands, Rose Park, Toorak Gardens and surrounding suburbs.
No weekend work or late night shifts - you can choose when and how you work, managing your schedule via our app. As a cook in childcare, you will have the opportunity to prepare up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children. In addition to cooking, your knowledge may be required in aspects of menu planning and nutrition guidance.
About You
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
Australian work rights and a willingness to gain your state-based Working with Children Card
Safe Food Handling Certificate
Available a minimum of 2 shifts per week
Willingness to travel to different locations around your area
Key Responsibilities
Prepare up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children
Plan menus and provide nutrition guidance
Work collaboratively with childcare staff to ensure smooth meal service
Manage food safety and hygiene standards
