We are seeking an experienced Fashion Apparel Design Lead to join our team at Emerging Blue Jobs. As a member of our Design, Sales, and Merchandising teams, you will play a critical role in developing and launching seasonal apparel lines that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute print designs for t-shirts and other apparel items
• Collaborate with licensors to ensure seamless execution of design concepts
• Prepare and present graphics for internal meetings and external events
• Oversee the creation of color separations for screen prints to ensure timely delivery to factories
• Provide constructive feedback to the Product Assurance team regarding strike-off and art approvals
• Coordinate standards and materials for seasonal development
• Research and analyze market trends to inform design decisions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to launch clothing lines for various distribution channels
• Manage the design process to ensure alignment with style plans, sales needs, and emerging trends
• Maintain accurate records of line sheets, production logs, and design catalogs
• Support Sales and Marketing efforts by merchandising showrooms for seasonal market dates
• Complete special projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the fashion industry (children's wear knowledge a plus)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to lead and develop a team of designers
• Brand-appropriate aesthetic
• Illustration skills a plus
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $115,000 per year.
