Job Description
To be right for this role and our organization, you need:
At least one year relevant experience or a level 2 or above relevant qualification.
Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.
Must be flexible to work late-night shifts and be able to manage two shifts in a day.
Long-term commitment required.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook food accordingly
2. Season food by using Chinese cuisine cooking techniques
3. Portion food, placing on plates or takeaway boxes and adding gravies and sauces.
4. Ensure quality of food are always delivered at the highest standard and present to customers in a timely manner
5. Teach and supervise kitchen junior staffs the cooking procedures by using your cooking knowledge and experience if needed.
6. Working with other chefs to discuss food preparation issues.
7. Prepare dietary food to meet the customer’s special needs.
8. Keep kitchen tidy and clean to meet health and hygiene regulations
9. Manage frozen and fresh food
