Are you someone who thrives on helping others grow and succeed? Join CHRG as our next CHS Program Coordinator and lead a Swim School that supports learners of all ages. At Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre, you’ll be part of a team that values community, hospitality, respect, and personal development.
About the Role...
As the Program Coordinator, you will work closely with the Aquatic Manager to ensure the smooth daily operations of our swim school and aquatic programs. You’ll play a key role in leading staff, maintaining high standards of safety and customer service, and helping grow a positive and progressive aquatic culture.
Key Responsibilities...
Support the day-to-day operations of all aquatic programs and services
Assist with staff supervision, rostering, and performance management
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, policies, and procedures
Contribute to staff training, mentoring, and professional development
Liaise with parents, customers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide support
Assist with event planning, program development, and business growth initiatives
Act as a leader on-deck, setting a positive and professional example
About You...
A qualified and experienced swim instructor and aquatic team leader
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
Demonstrated understanding of aquatic safety standards and best practices
High level of initiative and problem-solving ability
Approachable, professional, and team-oriented
Essential Qualifications
Current AUSTSWIM, RLS or Swim Australia Teacher Certification
Current CPR certificate
Working with Children Check
Pool Lifeguard Certification (preferred but not essential)
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in an aquatic or recreation setting
