Job Description
The Hedge Fund Financial Reporting Senior Analyst will:
• Prepare and review Fund's annual and quarterly financial statements to clients, auditors and investors.
• Assist in the audit coordination of the clients' annual reporting process.
• Provide clients and auditors with appropriate supporting documentation for annual statements.
• Prepare certain required SEC filings.
• Participate in audit update calls.
• Ensure 100% of evidence of review when preparing statements.
Undertake any other financial reporting responsibilities assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years in the financial services industry and 1 year in the hedge fund industry
• Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting or Economics (3.2 or higher GPA), CPA is a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
• Professional and proactive approach to work, problem solver
• Leadership & motivation
• The ability to manage change and deliver results
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong client service orientation
