Payments Client Service, Implementation and Operations is part of the Digital & Platform Services organization in the Corporate & Investment Bank. Payments CSIO provides the following capabilities:
• Operational support to the Payments businesses including Treasury Services, Commercial Card, Trade Finance and Merchant Services
• Payment hub services for all firmwide divisions
• Cross-product cash management, reconciliation, and change management services
Payments CSIO consists of over 10,000 employees across 60 sites and supports 142k corporations, financial institutions, governments, and municipalities domiciled in over 180 countries.
Role Description:
Regulatory reporting requirements are complex, increasing in nature, and our reporting infrastructure requires upgrading to meet these requirements. We want to strengthen our management of those regulatory reporting needs and drive significant improvement around completeness, control, and ability to adapt to new requirements. We are seeking an Associate to support the Regulatory Operations Governance Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing governance structures supporting Payments Regulatory Operations processes
• In partnership with the Regulatory Operations Governance Lead, create and operate a global strategic, sustainable governance structure around day-to-day execution and ongoing improvement. The governance model framework will be defined by these main tasks:
• Oversight - LOB Awareness of obligations for adherence to governance, cadence, membership: Agree project management artefacts Oversee tollgate / sign-off from each LOB before submission Ensure activities are defined against the appropriate Rule Book Roles and responsibilities to be agreed by key LOB stakeholders
• Rules of logic (e.g. as defined in the appropriate Rule Book) - Adherence to rules of logic, as well as roles and responsibilities in maintaining adherence to these rules
• Data - Evaluation of the process in terms of data collection from each LOB. Tracks and monitors Line of Business Data production and data issues
• Change management - Change control process will be implemented to manage material changes to scope / requirements and assess timeline impacts to reporting milestones
• Specific deliverables:
• Manage Global Regulatory Operations Standards
• Support Regulatory Operations Global Governance Forum (tracking of actions, issue management and proactive reviews)
• Build and Monitor metrics for BAU activities in adherence with Firm-wide / CIB Standards & Procedures
• Error Management
• Support Control Management on Exams & Audits

• Sustainable RegOps governance framework, able to meet the needs of future demand in an efficient and effective manner
