We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital. The current opening is within the CIB F&BM Markets Equities BCM (Control Management) - Team Lead (502) in Bengaluru which forms part of the Corporate and Investment Banking LOB within GF&BM India. About the Team As a Control Management Team Lead, you'll be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment, identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency, and partnering with the business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner. The team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation. About the Role Primary Responsibilities: In partnership with stakeholders, evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols Perform ongoing analysis of program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies Assist with development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units Desired Candidate Profile: - Experience in business controls, operational risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit or similar function with coverage of Markets Sales / Trading businesses - Understanding of the control framework for Market's businesses would be beneficial (Equities, Commodities, Currencies and emerging markets) - Excellent in MS office, especially in Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, VBA, Access Database and Power point - Understanding of the end to end product life cycle for Equities and other products. - Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership - Strong organizational skills - manages and prioritizes multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines - Strong understanding of controls and their application to different processes and businesses - Strong analytical, problem solving and process re-engineering skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong team player with excellent partnering and influencing skill Shift Timing : APAC Hours
